Business Continuity Planning (BCP) - Covid-19

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, bearing in mind that no battle plan survives first contact with the enemy. Things are bound to go wrong and we must be prepared to react to the changing circumstances.

If your business hasn't got its plan in place, it needs to pushed to the top of the do list. The top 3 considerations need to be:

1. Not panicking

2. Ensuring the well-being of staff

3. Keeping essential business services function, which ultimately, if offices close would mean ensuring key workers are equipped to working remotely from home.

The Covid-19 epidemic could see up to a fifth of the workforce off sick when the coronovirus peaks, according to the UK Government. Internationally, companies are stepping up their own contingency planning to prevent the virus from spreading through offices by asking staff to work from home. www.gbc.gi/...
